  Not a place I'm ever visiting again.
  
  My sister is getting married and had made an appointment with Heirlooms two weeks prior to visiting. When we got there, they were busy and we had to wait for a bit; no big deal. The woman who greeted us was older, short, and had short grey hair. I'm describing her because her service at the beginning was horrible; she should be avoided.
  
  She immediately shut down my sister's desire for sleeves on her wedding dress. I think it's because they didn't have very many dresses with sleeves, so discouraging my sister of the idea of sleeves was easier than losing a customer.
  
  Since she wasn't helping us find dresses, we all decided to walk around the store and look for dresses that my sister might like. When we found a few, we handed them to the woman. She snapped at one point "These don't have sleeves" and "well this isn't at all what you were describing to me." When I found a dress and gave it to the woman, she said "Oh well now we're straying further away from what you asked for." She looked at the dress and said very rudely "oh it's from the sale section, too."
  
  As time progressed, she became a little more helpful; she helped my sister in and out of dresses and clipped the ones that were too big. But the initial impression was not a good one.
  
  This is supposed to be a fun and special day for the bride, but the woman was condescending and rude. We are never coming back.

  I went for my very first bridal appointment at Heirlooms Bridal Shoppe this summer, and the experience was everything I had hoped for. I originally chose this bridal boutique because they carried a number of the designers I was interested in, but after reading some of the other reviews I was nervous for my appointment.
  
  I feel terrible that other brides may not have had a great time, but from the moment I entered Heirlooms Bridal Shoppe I felt like I was on cloud nine. The shoppe was bright and beautiful and the dresses and accessories were all out on display. I was greeted right away, and asked to browse the racks while my consultant Lynne set up my fitting room.
  
  I was a little overwhelmed with all the choices (it was my first appointment!) so Lynne came right over and asked if I'd be open to suggestions. I said yes and she set off picking a few dresses for me. She brought different cuts and colours and embellishments to get an idea of what I liked and what looked best on me. It only took 4 dresses to find my perfect match - one Lynne had chosen for me, and one I would've never chosen for myself!
  
  I had an experience that brides dream of - a beautiful boutique, my loved ones around me, a perfect dress (at an amazing price) and everyone in happy tears. To anyone hesitant to come here because of other reviewers I suggest you book and appointment and see for yourself. I plan on updating my review once I go for my first fitting/receive my dress to give a fair review of the whole process.
